In the frame of aktuelle kunst in graz (contemporary art in graz) well known curator and author Florian Waldvogel (Hamburg) gives a tour of the current exhibition at KM– „Deuscthland#ASNCHLUSS#Östereich“ by Jan Böhmermann and btf GmbH.
Florian Waldvogel studied "Practice of Art Mediation" at Städelschule Frankfurt/Main. He was master-class student of Prof. Kasper König. From 2001 – 2003 Waldvogel worked as an artistic director of Kokerei Zollverein | Zeitgenössische Kunst und Kritik, Essen. 2004 he curated NIZZA TRANSFER. Waldvogel was co-curator of exhibitions like “Just Do It!“ (Linz 2005), „Manifesta 6“ (Nicosia, Cyprus 2006), „Das Große Rasenstück“ (Nuremberg 2006) and „A 37 90 89 – Die Erfindung der Neo-Avantgarde“ (Berlin 2018). From 2006 – 2008 he was curator at Witte de With in Rotterdam and from 2009 – 2013 Director of Kunstverein in Hamburg. 2015 PhD in Art History at the University of Fine Arts of Hamburg with Prof. Dr. Diers. From June 2019 he holds the position of a Kustos for the modern Collection of the Tiroler Landesmuseum in Innsbruck. Florian Waldvogel regularly writes about topics in contemporary art and is an author and editor of numerous publications.
