The artist manages to work out the boundaries that separate behavior and consciousness, even in the pieces that do not primarily and directly examine the theme of image production. This is also the case in "Door"; here, knocking on an “apartment door” opens it up a crack, plausibly simulating the excitement of going to a potentially good party, while at the same time the context of the exhibition confirms the illusory reflection of this situation. In "Death Bird", the skeleton of a bird defecates on its pedestal at irregular intervals. In the meantime the observer’s perceptions of the animal cadaver oscillate between the animal functions and the function of the apparatus, which mechanically simulates a natural process.
