In conversation with the director of KM-, the Graz-based architect and artist E.d Gfrerer (born in Carinthia) talks about his current exhibition and discusses the various possibilities of spatial perception on the basis of his site-specific installation. After having worked for several weeks at the Künstlerhaus, Gfrerer describes his approach to the encountered architecture and its “applied” interpretation, and argues about the meaning of useful, interval and exhibition spaces as well as the potential of re-construction.
