The Styrian painter and sculptor Michael Maier visited Documenta 2012 in Kassel giving a performance titled "Störenfried“ by means of a mobile sculpture. For the courtyard of the Künstlerhaus Maier has in comparison conceived the self-critical artwork „I Dont’ Wanna be Me.“ A mixture of dramatic readings, little songs and a series of absurd actions shall visualize the intended self-negation: „At best the sum of presentations will trigger a process of disengagement of the self within the consciousness of the audience.“
