The photo and video artist Karø Goldt creates with her characteristic, (de-)constructive image process a space for reflection on possible forms of contemporary images. Her disturbingly beautiful, visual compositions are formally minimalistic and sensually intensive. At this event, the German artist presents her artist book "Inter View", in which photographies by Goldt have been assigned to "The Turning Point: Science, Society, and the Rising Culture" by Fritjof Capra from 1982. There will also be a screening of selected video works by Goldt. Afterwards, the artist will answer questions by junior curator Jana Franze and the audience.
Karø Goldt (*1967 Günzburg, lives in Berlin and Vienna) studied theology at the FU Berlin with Klaus Heinrich and at the Schule für künstlerische Photographie Wien with Friedl Kubelka / vom Gröller. She has been working with the medium of experimental cinema since 2001 and creates artistic photography since 1996. For her works, Goldt has received numerous grants and prizes.
