For the exhibition "fuels ’n’ frumps" the Vienna-based artist Maja Vukoje created a new work series, which she shows in combination with her oeuvre of the last five years at Künstlerhaus, Halle für Kunst & Medien, for the first time. With her paintings Vukoje represents an outstanding and recognized position in Austria and abroad. In conversation with Sandro Droschl she gives an insight into her artistic practice and her exploration of political themes such as post-colonialism, gender, and pop culture.
