In conversation with Sandro Droschl, Richard Kriesche will talk about the highly successful action HELP, initiated in 2006 and guide through the current presentation of his continuing collaboration with the university medical center and the Styrian Hospitals Limited Liability Company (Kages) in Raum B with its artistic interpretations presented at the interface between public and private realms. Ästhetik im Extrembereich describes Kriesche’s interventions into the design of patient rooms, striving to establish an aesthetic ambient environment that will promote the well-being of the patients, accelerate the healing process, and ultimately enhance, through this redesign of patient rooms, the quality of the workplace for medical personnel, especially the nursing staff.
