In a special exhibition, the film-maker Gustav Deutsch (*1952 Vienna, lives in Vienna) presents the third episode of his prize-winning film "SHIRLEY – Visions of Reality", which translates the painting "New York Movie" (1939) by the American artist Edward Hopper (1882–1967) into a filmic version. In the long version of the film, the story of the actress Shirley is told through thirteen interpretations of Hopper paintings.
