The works of the graphics programmer Lia (Vienna) stand for a discussion of abstract basic elements, which dissolve into a graphical formal language and rearrange always anew. Lia develops synthetic environments of concentrated image sequences, of which the surprising running off opens up a variant-rich changing between the two “worlds” abstraction and the concrete. The long term cooperation with the Electronica-duo @c (Porto) reveals her interest in sample techniques which are virtually submitted to a structured, serial composition.
The video INT.5_27/G.S.I.L.XXX is basis for a site-specific media installation in the frame of steirischer herbst 2004 – being displayed generatively on the BIX façade at the Kunsthaus Graz.
